If you are familiar with our other website, BarefootInFloridaWithJulie.com, then you will recognize this website as being a part of that site.
I debuted www.BarefootInFloridaWithJulie.com in 2011, and published it on our daughter Veronica’s July 6, birthday.
Over the years it has grown substantially and has gotten out of hand a bit. It evolved as we evolved. I just thought it was too big and needed to be pared down, but I didn’t want to get rid of any material, so I decided it was time to create a new website to house a lot of our older material. Initially, I hadn’t planned on making this all about Florida, but as I was selecting which material to remove from our older website, and place onto this one, it just seemed as if all of the material I wanted to place here was about Florida. Upon reflection, I probably should have chosen the name, VintageJulieBarefootFloridaArchives. But alas, what is done is done.
This website is being debuted on our son Brodie’s birthday, November 29th.

I probably won’t be working on this site very much. There are a few things I want to tweak, but other than that it will just be an archival library for us. Perhaps in the future more content will end up here from our other site, but for now, I am very pleased with this one.
When I told my guys in India that host our websites exactly what I wanted with this one, they ended up delivering exactly what we wanted.
Gordon and I are very pleased with it. We do tend to suffer a language barrier with our Indian website hosts, but creative people end up knowing how to communicate with each other. They gave me exactly what I asked for. We are very happy with it.
